What is a Quick Reaction Force?
A QRF is a small force that responds quickly to protect the community (in this case their neighborhood) from danger using superior firepower and tactics. Consider them the same way you would a minute man. They are the guys that show up when the alarm is sounded.
"The Quick Reaction Force is a small force that responds quickly to protect their community from danger using a tactical show of force."
A Quick Reaction Force can be used to protect against:
- Marauding Gangs
- Full-scale Invasions
- Tyranny
- Looting
- Criminals
- Any form of an SHTF situation
Why does every neighborhood need a Quick Reaction Force?
"By working together as a community in a tactical manner, you can send a clear message to any outside force that you will not tolerate violence or oppression."
A Quick Reaction Force works directly with a neighborhood watch, or more specifically, a neighborhood guard. The neighborhood guard is your advanced warning that danger is approaching. (The bigger the threat, the more of a warning you will need in order to activate your defensive plan appropriately.)
Without a Quick Reaction Force, your neighborhood is defenseless until/if local law enforcement can arrive to handle the issue. In most cases, the danger is done and over with by the time the LEO's can even get there. In other cases, the LEOs are the threat.
To Be Clear
*No, I'm not a cop hater. However, misunderstandings or oppression (even in America) do happen on occasion and you can use your Quick Reaction Force to stop both the victim and the LEOs from getting shot IF your defensive plan is used correctly.*

How to Use a Quick Reaction Force
The members of your Quick Reaction Force are your neighbors. They are the ones that volunteer to be on standby in the event of an emergency. They go about their daily lives like normal, however, they train for and are ready to act in a minute's notice.
The members of your Quick Reaction Force need to get together and train regularly in order to maintain and improve their skills both with their weapons and team tactics. I recommend a minimum of once a month.
Realistic Example
"Meanwhile, your secondary QRF is gearing up and moving to their staging point."
Lets take a look at how this would assist you and your community in the event of a gang trying to overtake your community.
Say that your neighborhood guardian sees the threat coming and activates the alert. Not only can your Quick Reaction Force act as a line of defense, but they can allow time for the rest of the neighbors to either escape or flank the enemy's position.
Meanwhile your secondary QRF is gearing up and moving to their staging point. This allows them to react to any other threat. This is used as a safety precaution in the event that the initial attack was only a distraction for the main attack.
Recommended Training
"What really sets the QRF apart, is Infantry Tactics"
So what kind of training would a Quick Reaction Force member need?
Like the Guardian, a QRF member would need:
- Weapons Marksmanship and Familiarization
- Trauma Care
- Hand to Hand Combatives
- Knife Fighting
But what really sets the QRF apart, is Infantry Tactics, Close Quarter Combat and Improvised Explosives.
Infantry Tactics
Infantry Tactics is the base for every kind of warfare out there. It can prevent life loss by gaining superior firepower and strategic tactical placement.
Since your Quick Reaction Force will be fighting to protect your neighborhood, Infantry Tactics and Close Quarter Combat training is crucial.

The Full Potential of a Quick Reaction Force
With the right foresight, training and planning, your QRF could stop all forms of ground attacks. Even armored vehicles (think big pit trap in the roadway).
Your Quick Reaction Force could literally be the very life-saving force that holds an invading army at bay, or even drive them out.
Conclusion
While the Guardian is the foundation for your neighborhood's security, the Quick Reaction Force is what's really going to save the lives of your neighbors on a mass scale.
From preventing an unconstitutional gun confiscation to stopping full-scale military attacks on your community, the neighborhood QRF is going to give you the best chance at survival. With proper foresight and planning, it can stop wave after wave of attacks (think ambushes).
A properly trained and organized Quick Reaction Force takes time. So instead of waiting till its too late, get out and build your community's QRF NOW.
