UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL

Every prepper knows that waiting until bad things happen or till SHTF to decide to prepare is not the answer. However, unless we also can work together when SHTF, we are all screwed. But how can you get your community involved when there are so many who do not prepare for SHTF?

How to Unite Your Neighborhood

The Common Goal

Twice now I’ve been in Iraq, a country with no infrastructure, no real laws, and total chaos. I have seen firsthand where we are heading if we don’t start pulling together and stop allowing the progressive media to tear us apart. It’s time for us to start acting like Americans again and stop the fighting. The problem is that no one trusts anyone. So how can we solve this issue?

After 9/11 I saw our country unite for about 6 months. For 6 months we were Americans again. This was because we all found ourselves in the same situation (funny how that works). Even in war, I found that no matter how much I disliked a guy, he was still my brother in arms and I would protect him. So the question is what’s our common cause? What can make us want to work together and will stop the oppression on the law abiding citizen? Freedom!

The Solution

Freedom is the one thing that everyone in this country wants. The freedom to be who we are, the freedom to own property and live the way we see fit. So what can guarantee that? The police, the military... politicians? We have all those now and they aren’t working.

Let’s think further back, let’s think about… a Militia.

But we have huge Militias now. Yes…we do, and that’s the problem. Our forefathers wished for a true Militia to be made up by the people and answer to a LOCAL legislative body. They were to answer to the state legislature, not the governor. By that account that makes the National Guard not a Militia.

This was done so no one man could hold control over a local armed force. The issue is that the states are not really local now. And almost all our politicians are growing out of control with laws like, The Red Flag Law. So it’s time for us to think more local. Let’s talk about a county Militia.

Community + Militia + Local Law Enforcement = Freedom

It is vital that we ensure that the sitting sheriff of our counties be willing to uphold the Constitution and not enforce such things like this Red Flag Law. We also need a checks and balances system which will ensure that not only is the Sheriff and other Law Enforcement agencies operating within the scope of the Constitution, but that our politicians are as well. A county Militia will be able to do that.

Checks

The Check part is where the sheriff comes into play. All sheriff’s issue CHL (Concealed Handgun License), as a part of that they must conduct a background check on that individual. The Militia commander makes sure all his personal possess a valid CHL. This eliminates the opportunity for criminals to enter into an armed Militia. Furthermore, the sheriff needs to allow the Militia to train with their SRT/SWAT teams as well as other specialized units.

Balances

The county commissioners will appoint one man to head the Militia. (It’s vital that the people of the county ensure the right individual is placed in that position.) They should be a prior military, non- yes man kind of guy. Basically you want a guy that is crazy enough and good enough that they are not afraid to do what is right no matter what.

So should the county commissioners, the sheriff, any other elected officials or law enforcement agency go off the rail - they will order a march on that location, overthrow that official, and restore order. Until such time as a new official can be put in place.

They must be willing to march their men in front of a large body of armed units and act as a buffer of protection. Think about what the 3%ers did for the Bundy’s and Hammonds in Oregon at the BLM building. This must be done to prevent situations like Waco, TX or Ruby Ridge.  That’s the balance part.

Unlimited Possibilites

With the start of a local militia working with local law enforcement, a few things will start to happen.

  1. More people will see the value of the Militia and join.
  2. The cops will start to see the average citizen as their neighbors and not the enemy.
  3. Cops will integrate themselves into the Militia and vise versa.
  4. Militia members will assist the cops during stressful large scale events, (Think school shootings, SRT call outs, mass shooting events, etc.)
  5. The information will begin to flow (Yay for Networking!)

The Militia is made up of the everyday citizen. They work and live all over the county. By working together as a community, the people will be able to apply their knowledge and skills to help each other. They can also make the cop’s job of finding the real bad guys easier (more eyes and ears.)

Like volunteer fire and rescue, these Militia men can rush to assist anyone in need. They will be your neighbor next door, your brother, maybe even you. Should you find yourself in a Rudy Ridge situation you can call on them to assist you to a peaceful resolution. Again think of the Bundy’s fighting the BLM SWAT guys in Nevada.

Finally: the counties will begin to grow strong. With the bad guys being prosecuted or ran out of the area - the good guys will begin to prosper again.

Making America Great Again

Within a few short years the Militia, Sheriff’s, County Commissioners, and all other officials will start to work together. If anyone does something that the people of this county dislike, then they can send the Militia in. I bet even the judges start to get the picture.

So long as the people as a whole hold the power, true justice and peace can rule. Just imagine if we could implement a country-wide movement that starts like this. There is the potential for a total reworking of the system. After all it’s not the system that’s broke, just the people running it.

Preventing Disaster

Preventative medicine is everything. Everyone focuses on what to do after a SHTF situation. However, not many focus on how to prevent it from getting to that point.

We all feel a shift in the country, a sense of something bad about to happen around the corner. Some have had vivid dreams or visions. Others simply are experienced enough that they can read the tea leaves and see something bad is right around the corner.

When SHTF

To what is going to happen, that (to some) still remains a mystery. Natural Disasters, Terrorist Attacks, Government Takeover, Civil War. No matter what happens one thing can help us make it through better than massive stock piles of food or ammo. That’s working together.

And when that SHTF, well you can’t tell me that us Preppers won’t be in the ranks of the Militia. Either way, history has shown that no matter what happens we Americans can survive it when we work together.

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL.
