During the Battle of Lexington and Concord, our founding fathers were able to prevent a massive gun confiscation from the British. How?

The Battle of Lexington & Concord

Our founding fathers completely stopped a gun confiscation from the British. Thanks to public schools, most Americans don't realize how big of a deal the Battle of Lexington and Concord actually was.

To put this into perspective, the British were known as the strongest country in the world during that time. While the Colonials were mere bugs in comparison.

Advanced Warning

Because Paul Revere ran ahead and raised the cry of alarm, the people were able to wake and organize in time for the British's approach. Modern day terms would title this an Advanced Warning System.

Following that, they went out to meet the enemy at Lexington with more than 70 minute men before the British could reach Concord.

Unfortunately, their commanding officer did not know how to handle a larger force. So he quickly told his men to disperse and retreat when they realized that the British vastly outnumbered them.

As a result of their leader's lack of knowledge, many were killed with several wounded and left as possible POWs.

Knowledge is Power

Throughout the course of history, consistent study proves that numbers really doesn't make the victor. There are successful David and Goliath events all over the place.

If numbers and assets don't win a battle, then what does? KNOWLEDGE! The leader that studies, trains and practices the most will be able to train and lead his men into victory even if they're against a larger force.

War is HERE

Again, take a look through history. During every major war what ONE event actually called it a war? If you're waiting for something worse to happen before you start to prepare for war, then you're setting yourself up for failure.

About the author

Arthur is the founder and CEO of Tackleberry Solutions. He created this business to teach others realistic wartime tactics based off of personal experience and training. This is contradictory to other tactical instructional classes that focus on the shooting aspect for "tacticool" looks and "accuracy" instead of real-life wartime scenarios. - Arthur has dedicated his life to saving others from hardships and war. His core belief is that the only answer to surviving mass devastation is by being prepared & working together. His goal is to teach that concept to as many people as possible.

  • Most Americans don’t realize that it was the British Confiscation of Weapons from the Colonists the drove the coming Rebellion. Several times before Lexington and Concorde the Brits has already seized weapons from several Townships throughout the Colonies. Pick up a High School or even College History text, and you won’t read about the confiscations in New York, New Jersey and eslewhere. Why aren’t they in there? Why do you have to specifically study the years leading up to 1776 to discover these cache seizures? Because the plot to make Americans ignorant of what, why and when our 2nd Amendment is needed, began in the 1950s.

Thank you Art and Amy for your excellent service.

    • You are absolutely correct. The government never should have been placed in charge of our education, to begin with. Now, not only do they limit and alter our knowledge of history, but they impress anti-American concepts like to never question the government.
